Cal. 30-30. S# 4767642. Bbl. 19 7/8". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester in 1979. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations, as well as Winchester's mfg. information. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood forearm and straight grip stock with checkered black synthetic Winchester buttplate. Wood furniture has been sanded and refinished at one time. Dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Front sight is absent. CONDITION: balance of receiver has faded to a gray patina, exhibiting consistent light to mild pitting overall. Remaining metal components retain fair to good amounts of their original blue finish, showing areas of wear and thinning fading to gray, with scattered spots of light pitting and surface oxidation overall. Near mirror bore, exhibiting a couple of scattered spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the forearm exhibiting a crack on the right side that stems from the receiver.
